Pharmacy Technician classes

You must take Pharmacy Calculations I before taking this class. This class is designed specifically for pharmacy technicians. Students will cover everything from basic math skills to reading and interpreting labels and physicians' orders. The class will also cover calculation and conversion concepts, measurement systems, reconstituting liquid medications, and calculation medications for special populations. This is a recommended class for students taking or planning to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification course.

For students who have completed Pharmacy Technician Certification Part 1. Upon successful completion of the two-term course, students who are licensed or planning to be licensed Pharmacy Technicians will be eligible to take the nationally recognized PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) exam.
