Afternoons: June 18-21, 2018. Minimum age: 10. Maximum age: 15.  Watch 3D designs come to life, and learn the ins-and-outs of 3D printing. We’ll make big objects by printing smaller parts. And while we wait for the 3D printer to do its thing, we’ll have a full-class jam session using state of the art sound iPad apps! Use Blender to create your models — then send to the 3D printer and see it come to life! In this course you will create code for games of all types. Learn the basics! Create your game! Mornings: June 25-28, 2018. Minimum age: 10. Maximum age: 15.  Musical scores and sound effects in video games are awesomely important-- they add texture, depth, excitement, and feelings to games. In this camp, you’ll use professional sound design tools to create sound effects and music for games. Learn to create sound effects for space ships and music beds for cut scenes. Plus, add special effects, use loops to make a phat beat, record your own voice, and structure your song for maximum "smash hit" potential! Create multiple different designs from the same parts and pieces from just one builder’s kit. How many different things can you construct? Mornings: July 16-19, 2018. Minimum age: 10. Maximum age: 15.  The Arduino is a platform for creating anything you can imagine like robots synthesizers, video game consoles and lots of dyi projects. Learn to write basic code to make things move and control lights. Learn what it takes to build robots. We’ll also learn about the coding basics and syntax of Python. a super adaptable scripting language used for tons of applications like Instagram, testing Intel microchips, and building video games. You and your team will create a solution for your family in Minecraft, then build it and watch it come to life.
