To register for this class you must have already completed the APPLICATION process and been accepted.
Successful completion of this training qualifies candidate to sit for state and national practical and written licensing exams administered locally. This course provides instruction in a variety of medical and trauma related emergencies. This is a demanding course designed for those who will respond to 911 emergencies in an ambulance or fire rescue and will function within an emergency medical services system, often as a volunteer with a local rural fire department. Supplies and equipment used is consistent with the tools of the trade. Fire departments and private ambulance services that respond to 911 emergencies carry very specific equipment and operate within very specific parameters. Students are taught how to apply their skills within this structure.
