How do I talk to my partner/family member/loved one/friend or colleague with Alzheimer's disease or another dementia about going to the doctor or when to stop driving? How do I make sure I can continue communicating with them throughout each stage of the disease? What is the best way to respond when their behavior is bewildering, difficult or annoying? Come to this series of 3 classes with the Alzheimer's Association to find out the most up-to-date methods for understanding and responding to behaviors and communication, and initiating helpful conversations, with a loved-one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Also experience a “Virtual Dementia” demonstration in our 3rd class "This series satisfies new state requirements for dementia training for all Assisted Living and Residential Care Facility staff."
