« back to classes page
In 1960, a 17-year-old kid from Brooklyn had plenty of talent but no connections and no money. Four years later, Barbra Streisand was the top-selling female recording artist in America and the star of one of Broadway's biggest hits, "Funy Girl." Join us as we head to Eugene's John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts for a performance by LCC-alum an UO Graduate Shirley Andress as she tells the story of the formative years of Barbra's career through song. We'll enjoy a no-host dinner following the performance.
