ClassGraphic Join Chef Sandy Scheetz in learning the basics of cake making, from pound cakes to butter and sponge cakes, for simple layering or for delicious sumer trifles. The cakes arent complete without filings and frostings to include: simple custards, curds and icings. And for those who plan to do-it-yourself wedding cake, we'll demonstrate the basics of constructing a 2-tiered cake. We'll mic, bake, fill, and frost-with simple piping techniques and tips and also taste our products. Meet in the Center Bldg. Cafeteria at the Titan Book Store. The class combines demo with hands-on. Come bake cakes with Chef Sandy and go home with samples.
