ClassGraphic Learn the basics and begin training your dog to track by scent. This intensive course lays the foundation that can lead to certification in search and rescue. Used by a variety of organizations for operations involving lost individuals and recovery efforts after a natural disaster. Learn commands and healthy training techniques, then begin training your dog to identify, locate, and alert on specific subjects. This beginning class is required for entry into the advanced tracking class. After successful completion of both classes you will be prepared to take the certification test to qualify as a tracking team. (Testing options will be provided, but are not part of the course) Led by instructor Jason Coutts, owner/operator of Oregon Canine Academy and Certified Master Instructor.
