« back to classes page
How do you get your point across and to whom? Whether applying for a new job, writing a statement of purpose for a scholarship or grant, or sending out promotional or professional newsletters, practical correspondence is something we do all the time, sometimes without even thinking about it. And this class will get you thinking and practicing to be a more effective, persuasive, writer. In addition to some lecture, the class will involve guided instruction with personal projects, peer review work, and discussion of assigned texts and examples. Recommended that student has a clear grasp of English composition and grammar.
