Students continue learning Mandarin Chinese utilizing pinyin transcription. Focus is placed on traveling in China, self-introduction, and cultural discussions. Bisyllabic verbs, embedded questions, localizers, and verb-object compounds are covered. The emphasis is only on oral proficiency. Learning the Chinese writing system is not required.
