Join us for a trip to Provisions Market in Eugene for an education in oysters! From shucking the raw ones to making classic creamy stew, buttery broilers and old school rockefeller, chef Karl Zenk will lead this hands-on class celebrating the Northwest’s favorite bivalve. We’ll talk about the different ways that oysters are cultivated, the multitude of preparation options and incredible range of flavor profiles that oysters have to offer. There will be time after class on your own to do a bit of shopping, get a bite to eat or enjoy a glass of wine or, perhaps, coffee and some dessert in the 5th Street Market.
