Bring your files on a thumbdrive, or learn through working with instructor-provided samples exercises.

To take this class, you should be very comfortable with the following computer skills and profiencies:
  • using word processing software to construct and edit a document
  • using online, web-based platforms
  • saving and retrieving files both online and onto a thumb/USB drive
  • managing files understanding file types

Please read:  To be comfortable and successful in the course and with the hands-on computer lab exercises, students should be adept and proficient with the following computer skills. Please contact the Continuing Education office at 1.541.463.6100 if you would like to be connected with the instructor to discuss your readiness. ---using the internet and internet browsers ---using the internet and internet browsers•file management: labeling, saving, locating and retrieving files to or from usb/thumb/flash drives, hard drive, or cloud ---proficient with Microsoft Word: copying and pasting text; changing formatting options such as size, font and spacing; and using the spellcheck function ---familiarity with a photo editing program such as Photoshop, Paint, Canva, or Picmonkey
