
After a classroom session to establish a botanical foundation this series of field trips will help participants improve their identification skills and knowledge of our local flora. Topics include plant anatomy, family characteristics, and using a botanical key to aid in identification. The focus will be on flowering plants
. This class will meet every other week (4/17, 5/1, 5/15, 5/29), with the first class meeting at the classroom listed; subsequent classes will meet on site in the field at various locations; carpooling will be facilitated at first class meeting.
