ClassGraphic The mighty honey bee is the focus of study for researchers at Oregon State University, which has a master pollinator on staff and its own honey bee research lab. We’ll visit OSU’s Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture and learn about how bees and honey are cultivated. Then, we’ll visit the Corvallis-based meadery, Nectar Creek, for a tour of their new facility and taste samples of mead brewed with honey made by regional bees. Bottles from their seasonal selection will be available for purchase.
